If you travel overland by own car, it is very important to arrive at the boat pier in time in order to catch the boat. A small sandy beach is reachable from Orchid Resort Bailanยดs garden over a private path.

On the other hand, most of points of interest, shopping malls and party locations can easily be reached by taxi or by rented car or motorbike in few minutes.

Bailan is a quiet little village approximately 4 km from Bang Bao, our local fishing village which is built on stilts over the sea and has some very nice seafood restaurants.

In Bailan itself, you can find numerous small restaurants and the islandยดs most popular Herbal Sauna as well as shops, Internet Cafe, bakery and a hairdresser.

Approximately 1,5 Km to the north of Bailan, the village of Lonely Beach offers supermarkets, ATMs, shops, restaurants, bars (some with live music) as well as some party locations.
